Hello All,
When I create a new project in the Java EE perspective, I am not able to find a SAP HANA Cloud Platform perspective.
The funny part is that this was working earlier in the day.
I had set up my development environment on the Hana Cloud Platform by the following steps:
1. Provisioned a HCP instance (developer edition) from hanatrial.ondemand,com.
2. I already had a Eclipse Luna, so I installed the necessary software via SAP HANA Cloud Platform Tools using update site https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna
3. I downloaded the SAP HANA CLoud Platform SDK to my local disk https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#cloud
4. I created my first Hello World Java application and deployed it on the server as per http://hcp.sap.com/developers/TutorialCatalog/jav100_2_java_hello_world.html. Its still deployed there. As a part of the exercise, I created a Java EE Web Project with SAP HANA Cloud Platform selected as the runtime.
Upon successful competition, I decided to create a Java application that uses a view modeled in the HANA modeler as per http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/cloud-platform/blog/2013/07/16/using-hana-modeler-in-sap-hana-cloud.
For the purpose, I installed the software SAP HANA Application Development (again from the update site https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna)
And now when I create a dynamic web project again, I cannot see the HANA Cloud Platform as a runtime option any more.
Restarting Eclipse or the system was of no avail. Any suggestions?
