I facing an issue with incorrect date format.
I have created a message type which has one of the field "Date" of type "date".
Now when I try to send data(in json format) to IoT MMS server using node.js application, the field which is received in not in correct format.
Can you help me the format in which I should write my date in .js file under messages statement so that it appears correctly in IoT MMS server as well as backend HANA table? I want to pass date as: 1/8/2016 i.e. for 8th January 2016.
For example, I have my .js code as shown below for 1st January 2016.
and am sure I am making a mistake in the format while writing above script(as I am very new to this coding) that's why I am getting date data at IoT like below:
