Hi,
I am trying to use SMP Cloud Trial account for an app I am building.
When I set the endpoint to the SAP GW demo server : https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT
and select "On internet", it works. When I try to ping it I get this:
https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT Backend profile Backend system reached successfully
https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHTSecurity profile Security system reached successfully
However when I enter my own GW system which is hosted on AWS and is exposed to the Internet, I get this message:
http://dummy.mydomain.com.com:8000/sap/opu/odata/iwfnd/MYSERVICE Backend profile Target service not allowed
http://dummy.mydomain.com:8000/sap/opu/odata/iwfnd/MYSERVICE Security profile Target service not allowed
Has this got to do with restrictions the SMP Cloud trial account has with connecting to unknown backend endpoints on the internet, or have I missed something?
Do I need to look into setting up SAP Cloud Connector? Has anyone had a similar experience with this?
Thanks,
Brad
