Problem with person End-to-End demo example

I have completed created the End-to-End example and locally it works just fine. I have pushed it up to the cloud and can run the app but from some reason the table structure that was created in the cloud has created attributes that are only 1 char in length? Again, this application works fine locally but not in the cloud.
