CommandException: Failed to find valid local port mapping

Since yesterday I get the following exception.

But I scanned all ports and 30015 or similar are not blocked (as I found as a solution).

I also restarted already everything and recreated the Hana instance.

 

Any ideas?

SAP HCP: OAuth Implicit Grant Support

Does anyone know if the OAuth stack on the HCP supports the "Implicit Grant" authorization code flow described in the OAuth 2.0 spec? I tried invoking the authorization server using URL query string parameter response_type="token" and got it seems this option is not supported. Was this purposefully omitted? Any information concerning this would be most appreciated.

HCP Application Services onPremise?

Question has probably already been asked.

 

Is it possible to get the HCP application services also with a onPremise installation?

I know I can install Hana, but I would like to have a JEE development environment like the one I have with HCP, but not in the cloud.

What are the possibilities here?

Hi,

 

I cannot get a stock quote with the application that we created last week. I get an Internal Server Error when I click the Search button. Can you offer any advice on how to fix this error?

Can not assign Privileges for procedures in HANA trial

Hi,

I am using the HANA trial version. In an xsjs file a procedure is called like

 

var cst = conn.prepareCall( "call mC_get" );

 

The procedure is located under my NEO-xx schema in procedures and reads from a table of that schema.

 

The table select priviliges have been assigned and  native select statements work from xsjs .

 

 

The call procedure  statement however  throws an error like

 

"Error while executing query: [dberror(Connection.prepareCall): 258 - insufficient privilege: Not authorized at ptime/query/checker/query_check.cc:2182"

 

I was trying all kind of sql grant statemants to grant some select privileges but did not succeed (mostly the grant statemebnt throwed another insufficient privilege error)

 

What do I need to do to allow the xsjs app process my stored procedures ?

SSO/SAML and URL redirection / rewrite rules

Hello HANA cloud platform team,

 

We're currently developing a sapui5-application, which uses the rewrite rules defined in a .xsaccess file. It runs on a URL like this:

 

https://myapp.neo.ondemand.com/some/package/name


The content shown there is located in the following project folder (xs-workspace):

 

/ourworkspace/some/package/name/WebContent


This folder contains all our html and js files (e.g. index.html and our js-code).

 

The rewrite rules look like this (I didn't create those):

 

"rewrite_rules": [

        { "source": "/(.*)", "target": "/WebContent/$1" }

    ]

 

 

Now for the problem we have:

When using basic form authentication everything is fine. The login form directs the user to the desired location.However, when we activate SAML and login using SSO, the redirection takes the user to https://myapp.neo.ondemand.com/some/package/name/WebContent, which consequently isn't found.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this? Where can I configure the redirection url for SAML Login? Or can I disable URL change in XS Admin Tool somewhere? I do I have to extend the rewrite rules? Does it even have to do with rewrite rules? They were just the only place I could find, which did something similar.

SAP HANA Tools not installed

Hello,

I followed all the steps and found a workaround to set the local platform.

The problem is that I was never able to install the runtime "SAP HANA Tools" from "Install New Software".

How to manage GIT repositories on HCP (trial)?

Hi,

 

for some reason (I don't know what's in there) my GIT repository on HCP has exceeded the 100 MB space.

Does anyone know how I can have a look at my repositories and how I can manage (delete) them?

Since one hour, the factory account does not respond. Browser shows loading icon?

Unable to connect to cloud application from eclipse

Hi all,

I have not been able to connect to the trial application on SAP HANA Cloud through eclipse, The controls to start, pause or debug the application are disabled and eclipse doesn't show status whether the application is stopped or running. It had been working few days back but not now. I updated the eclipse client to the latest compatible version but no luck.

Any help is appreciated.

how to delete gosh application

Hello, I am using hanatrial.ondemand.com for some development.

Starting last I Friday, I started to have troubles. I am not able to start my application from cockpit neither eclipse.

 

In the cockpit, I can see my java application, but the state is "Could not read status of application healthcare: Internal Server Error (500)"

If I try to start another application, I have an error saying that I already have one application running.

If I try to delete the application, I have an error: "Could not delete application healthcare: OK (580)"

 

So what can I do ?

Unable to deploy an application (because of EJB scan)

Hello,

 

When I try to deploy my application, there is an error coming from :

 

org.eclipse.virgo.web.enterprise.openejb.deployer.VirgoDeployerEjb

 

I think it is because there is an automatic scan on deployment to find out EJBs...

 

How to turn off this feature?

HEC Cloud Instance

Hi,

 

We are using an HEC cloud instance of HANA. So far, I have used HANA Studio to create models and OData sources. In the Open SAP class with Rui, we use the cockpit to access our HANA instance. Is this cockpit available for HEC instances?

Unable to create an xs project

Hello,

I am unable to create an XS Project. I did this a few weeks ago on another machine that I downloaded eclipse Kepler.

I downloaded eclipse Luna, and I do not see an option to create an XS Project.

I followed the instructions perfectly, and uninstalled and re-installed.

Under SAP Hana I should see an option for creating an XS Project. This is an option for the Kepler version, but not for Luna?

Help needed to install SAP Development Tools for Eclipse

Hi,
I would like to start working with SAP HANA Cloud Portal trial version. I have already signed up for the trial account. The next step is to install SAP Development Tools for Eclipe as referred here:

I have downloaded all zip-files as referred, unzipped them and want to install the tools, but I cannot find exe-files for installation. I cannot fx find exe-file for:
•  SAP HANA Cloud Platform SDK for Java EE 6 Web Profile
•  SAP Java Virtual Machine

 

Could you please tell me where I can find exe-files for SDK and JVM? I would also appreciate a short, but clear instruction in which sequence to install all the tools (JVM, SDK, SAP HANA Platform etc.) as there are of course dependencies between the tools.

Insufficient Privileges to create package on Hana Cloud Platform Trial

Hello all - I have a SAP HANA cloud platform trial account and have installed tools like HANA STUDIO, required SDKs etc.

 

I am able to connect my trial instance through Eclipse IDE. However when I try to import the sample HANA .csv file the system does not allow me and gives me a Insufficient privilage error.

 

Need a clarification whether I can try out data provisioning and modeling on the HANA CLOUD PLATFORM trial version.
